Dr. Marisabel Olivera
Hi! I’m Dr. Marisabel Olivera, DMD! I completed my dental training from Nova Southeastern University in Florida and then completed my two year post-doctorate hospital training in Pediatric Dentistry at Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. I served as chief resident and received rigorous training in behavior management, operating room dentistry, trauma, and emergency treatment during my residency program. I am dedicated to providing both preventative and therapeutic oral health care for children, starting at infancy through adolescence. I am passionate in caring for those with special needs and I am committed to guiding their dental growth and development in a warm and nurturing environment. I am cerified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and am an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD, the Florida Dental Association (FDA), the American Dental Association (ADA), and the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry (ABPD). I love traveling to my native country of Puerto Rico and spending time with my family in my spare time. Look forward to meeting you soon!
Vivian Edicsia Marenco Saborio, Head Assistant
Hi! My name is Vivian Edicsia; my nickname is “Vivi”. I’m from Nicaragua, where I graduated in 2009 as a Dental Surgeon at National University of Nicaragua-Leon. I came to Florida in 2010, looking for the American Dream! In 2012 I started working at JKD. I was so excited to learn and experience all the new technological advances in the dental field. I am the head assistant at JKD, working closely with Dr. Olivera during treatments at the office and at Broward General Medical Center where patients undergo general anesthesia. I’m also responsible for the inventory of the dental supplies and dental equipment. God blessed me in so many ways, especially with being able to do what I love. Helping kids have a healthy and bright smile is the best feeling in the world.

My biggest joys in life are my two wonderful children, Yasmin and Ayvan. I absolutely love the health field and providing the best patient care, from the moment you walk in until the moment when you leave with your child, is my number one priority. We welcome all of our families with open arms and hope that our office is your home away from home.

Sarah Buenano, Dental Assistant
Hi! My name is Sarah and I am one of the Dental Assistant’s for JKD! I am also the team’s marketing coordinator. I have been with this practice since November 2014. I am originally from Long Island, NY, but South Florida has been my home for the past 13 years. I graduated from Sanford Brown Institute in Fort Lauderdale. I have a wonderful husband and three amazing kids. Filipe is 9, Leia is 3 and Sebastian is 1. I love working here because not only do we have fun, but we really make a difference in the lives of our patients. To have parents thank us for what we were able to do for their children is an incredible feeling; it is a blessing. Dr. Olivera and the team have to be the funniest, most caring and hard working people I’ve ever met in my life. It’s a pleasure to be part of this family. Looking forward to meeting all of you one day!
Nikesha Dyer, Dental Assistant
Hi everyone! My name is Nikesha, but everyone calls me Nikki. I graduated from Concorde Career Institute in 2005 as a Dental Assistant and have been in the Pediatric Dental Field ever since. I have a great passion for working with children. It brings me so much joy to see what a difference it makes to put a smile on all of their beautiful faces by making them feel comfortable. The love of my life is my beautiful three-year-old son named Kai, so as a parent I fully understand the importance of your child’s need to have the best possible care given. Our practice thrives on putting kids first and building a relationship with each and every child, as well as, the parents. We are considered more of a family rather than a scary place to come. Dr. Olivera and the staff are absolutely amazing and all share the same enthusiastic personalities to make all our patients have a fun experience with every visit. Hope to see you soon!
